Finnish for Foreigners / Suomea ulkomaalaisille

The Finnish beginners' courses are intended for registered degree, exchange and postgraduate students of the University of Turku. Staff members may be admitted if there are places available, but they should primarily participate in the courses arranged by the university personnel training unit. Scholars and staff members of Åbo Akademi University can be admitted to the other courses, if there is room.

Only registered students of the University of Turku have free admission to the courses, all others have to apply for admission before the course begins. Application forms are available in the Student Services Office (Main Building) and in the office of the Language Centre (Juslenia, Henrikinkatu 2, 2nd floor, left wing). Applications for the autumn semester should be returned by September 15, 2011 and for the spring semester by January 13, 2012.

Everyone who intends to participate in the courses should attend the first lecture, even if acceptance for the course has not yet been confirmed.
