English Communication Skills module
Teacher responsible: Jane Honka
A study module carries a minimum of 15 ECTS credits. The module mainly consists of courses taken in the Language Centre, but may also include courses at the required level pursued elsewhere. At least 10 ECTS (2/3) of the study module should be from B2-level English courses offered by the University of Turku Language Centre. The Language Centre will decide whether to approve courses pursued elsewhere as part of the study module.
Objectives
- to develop language and communication skills
- to prepare for future working life in international contexts in Finland and abroad
- to improve negotiation, presentation and discussion skills
- to facilitate students to achieve their own objectives
